005's shedding was almost perfect. The skin was torn
but there were non left on his body. This was the first time 005 shedded since he lives with me. |

My smaller snakes each ate three smelt today. Since
there were some quirrels in 004 and 005's terrarium when I fed them the last time I separated them today when feeding. 005 took three smelt this time and 004 didn't get any because of an obvious cloudiness of her eyes. I didn't put the two back together after the meal but will wait until 004 has shedded. |

Today at noon 004 shedded without difficulties and
shortly after that I had 005 move back in with her. He showed a clear interest in her but she defended herself by beating with her tail. |

Today again 005 tried to get closer to 004. She still
defended herself but seems to start to like it. |

008 shedded today without any complications. 004 and
005 spend a lot of time together in the plants. No more defenses from 004's part. |

006 and 010 both enjoyed two smelt today, 009 and 008 took three. 004 and 005 got something to eat as well: 005 was finished after two smelt, 004 even took five. |

My three healthy juveniles moved together in a 60cm
x 30cm terrarium today. 006 stayed in her breeding box. For inauguration
they had babymice next to the usual smelt today. They tried them but had
difficulties with the legs and so didn't finish them. Instead 008 and 010 had two smelt each and 009 one. I noticed that 009's eyecaps are getting cloudy... 006 was full after two smelt. 004 was really hungry today. After a huge smelt she took two babymice and then three more smelt. 005 was content with three smelt. |

So far I couldn't watch any mating-process; I haven't
been hanging around in front of my terrarium all the time though. I guess I'll only find out some time in the future whether or not my two adults really did mate. At any rate 004 has had a huge appetite lately! |

Because 006's imflammation has not become better yet I stopped feeding for two weeks to give it a chance to heal. Unfortunately I could only find that it got a little better but it is not completely gone yet. |
